Due to rapid growth, and the roll out of a new freight forwarding division, we are now hiring for an experienced Air Export Freight Specialist to play a vital support role from a new operation in London Heathrow.

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic freight forwarder to oversee our airfreight export operation , ensuring efficiency, timeliness and cost-effectiveness. As well as the day-to-day airfreight operations, you will be support the branch manager, collaborating with cross-functional departments, negotiating rates and contracts with new and existing customers, and optimise processes to meet and exceed customer expectations.

We are looking to speak with individuals who demonstrate an extensive career history and skill set in airfreight export operations with a strong commercial awareness..

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day air freight operational activity for export consignments.
• To be compliant with all customs process/ declarations for import and export
• Help to train, support and develop operations team members.
• Work in collaboration with commercial departments.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure business retention
• A minimum of 3 years experience working within the Freight Forwarding Industry with a strong focus on Air export operations and Service Excellence for airfreight shipments.
• Advanced knowledge of airfreight process and security procedures and protocols.
• Strong negotiator and a self-starter with the ability to adapt to busy environments by using a sociable but firm approach, as well as engendering trust and integrity.
