Export Operations Coordinator

Location: Gatwick

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00

Leave: 20 days holiday + 8 UK bank holidays

Supreme Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading logistics provider, currently seeking a proactive and organised Export Operations Coordinator to join their Gatwick-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid knowledge of export procedures, confident in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing full-cycle export shipments (Air, Road & Sea) with clear, timely client updates
2. Advising on export documentation, customs regulations, and destination-specific requirements
3. Coordinating with airlines, hauliers, and shipping lines for competitive rates and efficient movements
4. Liaising with overseas agents and managing door-to-door logistics
5. Preparing accurate quotations and handling client communications via phone and email
6. Managing export documents (Carnets, EUR1s, Certificates of origin, etc.)
7. Handling Export Controls, including licence applications and ITAR permits
8. Booking courier exports via online platforms
9. Supporting warehouse activities: packing, labelling, and freight handling
10. Managing multiple client accounts with attention to detail and professionalism
11. Ensuring prompt and accurate invoicing of export jobs

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of export regulations and customs for Air, Road, and Sea freight
• Familiarity with Dangerous and Restricted goods procedures
• Ability to multitask and prioritise across multiple client accounts
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Team-oriented with confidence to work independently
• Hands-on attitude and organisational skills under pressure
• Full, clean UK driving licence
