Job summary

Right Now Group are currently recruiting an Air Export Coordinator to join a leading global freight forwarder based around London Heathrow. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Air Export experience, particularly within perishable, temperature-sensitive or time-critical freight.

You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring everything is booked, documented and customs compliant, while keeping customers updated throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in Air Freight / Air Exports.
• Experience handling perishable, temperature-sensitive or time-critical cargo.
• Strong understanding of export documentation and customs procedures.
• Ability to complete customs entries independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using freight systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air export shipments, from booking through to departure.
• Arrange air freight bookings with airlines and vendors, ensuring shipments meet customer deadlines.
• Prepare, check and process all relevant export documentation.
• Complete customs entries independently, ensuring full compliance with current regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular shipment updates.
• Resolve any shipment issues quickly and efficiently.
• Handle perishable and temperature-sensitive shipments with the required level of care and urgency.
• Liaise with airlines, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all systems are kept up to date.

Salary & Benefits for a Air Export Coordinator

• Salary: £36,000 - £38,000, depending on experience.
• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 09;00am -17:30pm
• Location: Felltham/Hounslow
