Job summary

ConSol Partners is seeking a Business Development Director - Air Domain to drive engagement with RAF and MOD, shaping opportunities and delivering strategic growth across the UK, Middle East and Africa. You will lead campaigns, coordinate with engineering, product, and commercial teams, and translate military needs into innovative capability solutions.

The role demands senior air-domain expertise, proven opportunity shaping, and the ability to influence senior military and government

Qualifications

• Former Royal Air Force officer or equivalent senior air-domain professional with strong RAF operations knowledge.
• Experience shaping opportunities, demos, trials, bids and capability proposals.
• Knowledge of Autonomous Systems, UAS/UAV Operations, EW, Airspace Integration and Air Capability Development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships across RAF, MOD, capability organisations and innovation communities.
• Build and execute engagement plans aligned to growth objectives.
• Identify, shape and convert opportunities from market engagement through to bid and contract award.
• Advise regional teams on air operations, doctrine, C2, airworthiness and operational employment concepts.
• Support customer problem definition, use-case development and solution positioning.
• Provide insight into military force structures and acquisition pathways.
• Develop strategic campaign plans and stakeholder maps for priority opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, finance, legal and delivery teams to tailor credible solutions.
