Job summary

Clements Young is seeking an Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to service, repair and maintain commercial and residential systems across planned and reactive work. The role includes fault finding, preventative maintenance and occasional minor installation tasks.

You will manage your workload with support, using a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform, with overtime and progression opportunities in a growing business.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 qualification is essential.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out lasting repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Respond to reactive breakdown calls.
• Produce accurate job reports and service documentation.
• Maintain high health and safety and customer service standards.

The Role

Our client is a well-established, growing company specialising in commercial and residential air conditioning installation, servicing and maintenance. Continued growth means they are looking for an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

This is a service-focused role covering planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of systems, with occasional minor installation work. You will have a well‑organised workload, supportive management and the stability of a steadily growing company.

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective, lasting repairs
• Completing planned preventative maintenance visits
• Responding to reactive breakdown calls
• Producing accurate job reports and service documentation
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and customer service
• Working professionally with customers and the office team

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as an air conditioning service and maintenance engineer
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification - essential
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration - preferred
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
