Job summary

Infinity Energy Organisation is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to survey, install, service and maintain air conditioning systems across residential properties, primarily in London and the South East with travel to other areas as required. The role demands independence, high installation standards and excellent customer service.

The candidate should have proven experience (ideally 3+ years) installing and servicing single-split and multi-split systems, along with NVQ Level 2/3

Qualifications

• Evidence of relevant air conditioning installation and servicing experience.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose faults.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys to assess air conditioning requirements.
• Install and commission single-split and multi-split systems.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Diagnose faults and repair existing systems.
• Ensure installations comply with regulations and industry standards.
• Document installation, commissioning and servicing activities.
• Liaise with customers, project managers and staff to ensure timely completion.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The role is primarily based across London and the South East, with occasional travel further afield as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying, installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems across residential properties, with opportunities to work on commercial projects.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, maintain high installation standards and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys to assess air conditioning requirements and determine suitable installation solutions.
• Install and commission air conditioning systems, including single-split and multi-split systems.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Diagnose and repair faults on existing air conditioning systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant regulations, manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Complete relevant installation, commissioning and servicing documentation.
• Liaise with customers, project managers and office staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Relevant air conditioning or refrigeration installation qualification (such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience, ideally minimum 3 years, installing and servicing air conditioning systems in residential properties.
• Experience installing and commissioning single-split and multi-split systems.
• Good understanding of refrigeration pipework, electrical connections and system commissioning.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out servicing and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience carrying out AC electrical isolator installations.
• Experience working on commercial air conditioning installations.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems.
• Additional manufacturer training or accreditations.
• Experience conducting site surveys and preparing installation specifications.
