Job summary

Infinity Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for a mobile role based around Horsham and the South East. The candidate will install, service and repair commercial and residential systems, with a focus on DX, VRF and chillers from multiple manufacturers.

The role requires a flexible, customer-focused engineer with good communication skills, F-Gas qualified, and a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• F-Gas qualified or equivalent.
• C&G/NVQ Level 2 beneficial.
• Experience with service and installation of commercial and residential AC systems.
• Good electrical knowledge for integration and fault finding.
• Live local to Guildford/Dorking/Horsham area within 30 minutes of client offices.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair commercial and residential AC systems.
• Work on DX splits, VRF, chillers and specialist systems from various manufacturers.
• Work independently or with another engineer as a pair.
• Carry out other works related to AC installations.
• Primarily cover South East/London with occasional longer travel.
• Maintain polite, clear communication with clients (verbal and written).

My client are expanding their team and have an exciting opportunity for a mobile air conditioning engineer. They are looking for a flexible individual who enjoys a varied, interesting role and is ready to hit the ground running. Someone with solid service skills who is happy to combine this with maintenance and installation work. This bright and motivated individual should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

My client is an established air conditioning contractor with over 30 years in the HVAC industry who has built a solid reputation based on quality and service. Their clients range from large corporations through to small business and residential customers. We enjoy a mix of business in West/East Sussex, Surrey and London. They work with all the leading air conditioning manufacturers enabling us to offer truly bespoke solutions tailored to our clients' needs and budget.

With an increasing client base, they are seeking a highly motivated, professional individual with good communication skills to deliver a quality service. The successful candidate will be someone who has experience working on a range of manufacturers' equipment and who takes great pride in their work.

KEY TASKS

• Providing installation, service, maintenance and repair of commercial and residential air conditioning systems
• Working on DX splits, VRF, chillers and applied systems for specialist applications from an extensive range of manufacturers
• Working independently and with other engineers (as a pair)
• Carrying out other works associated with air conditioning system installations
• Primarily covering the South East and London, but able to work at greater distances when required
• Polite and courteous with good communication skills, both verbal and written

KEY SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• F-Gas qualified
• C&G / NVQ 2 beneficial
• Good service and installation experience with commercial and residential air conditioning systems
• Have a good electrical knowledge
• Having other building services or HVAC skills would be an advantage but is not essential
• Full clean driving licence
• Live local to the Guildford / Dorking / Horsham area (no more than 30 minutes' drive time from my clients offices)
