Job summary

Vertu FM is recruiting a Static Air Conditioning Engineer to join our engineering team on a large commercial site in London. The role involves servicing and maintaining a range of commercial AC units and AHUs on a static site with a focus on reliability and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC/building services experience, AHU/FCU knowledge, a valid F-Gas certificate, and a full UK driving licence. Excellent time management and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks on client site.
• Maintain a wide range of commercial AC units and AHUs.
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Complete all PDA tasks including Risk Assessments.
• Use client portal and CAFM system if required.
• Provide reports on further works as needed.
• Liaise with the client regarding work completed and additional works.

Air Cooling Engineer - Static

Permanent, Full Time

Salary £45000 - £52000 DOE + Package

Static site London - WC1H

We are working with a reputable, fast-growing and forward-thinking facilities management business with a strong company culture and ambitious plans for continued growth.

Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Static Air Conditioning Engineer to join their engineering team on a large commercial site in London.

This role would suit an experienced and professional engineer who is comfortable working in a static environment and delivering a high standard of maintenance and customer service.

The Role

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
• You will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of commercial AC units, AHUs etc
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
• Use client portal and CAFM system if required
• Provide Further works reports where required
• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
• Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
• Collecting parts from supplier or head office where applicable
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday

The Person

The successful candidate will:

• Industry qualifications including F-Gas
• Comprehensive working experience from a HVAC and Building Services environment.
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry.
• Other skills preferable, mechanical, basic electrical, basic plumbing, Identification and adaptability. Must have experience with AHU’s and FCU’s
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork.
• Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
• Positive attitude
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required
• You must hold a full uk driving licence

The Package

• Salary £45000-£52000 DOE
• Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
• No callout rota
