Job summary

ARM is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer based in Cambridge to join our service and maintenance team. You will visit client sites to perform planned maintenance, servicing, and fault finding on a range of units including splits, VRFs/VRVs, and chillers.

The role offers a salary up to £47,000, a company vehicle, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, overtime, and ongoing training to support your professional development in the HVAC field.

Qualifications

• FGas certification is required for handling refrigerants.
• NVQ Level 2 in relevant trade.
• PASMA and IPAF are preferred for access safety.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to carry out scheduled planned maintenance visits and servicing.
• Work on a variety of air conditioning units including split units, VRFs/VRVs, twin and multi-splits, chillers, and more.
• Build on existing and create new relationships with clients on-site.
• Carry out reactive maintenance visits where you will need to fault find, diagnose, isolate and repair.
• Update, renew, and correct asset lists to ensure the contract runs smoothly moving forward.
• Help to quote for remedial works and other small projects.
• Deliver remedial works and other small projects.
• Submit detailed engineering reports to ensure the office team can communicate clearly with the client.

My client who is a very well-established Building Services provider is looking to add an Air Conditioning Engineer to their existing team.

The Role

• Visiting client sites in order to carry out scheduled planned maintenance visits and servicing.
• Working on a variety of air conditioning units including split units, VRF`s, VRV`s, twin and multi-splits, chillers, and more
• Building on existing and creating new relationships with clients on-site
• Carry out reactive maintenance visits where you will need to fault find, diagnose isolate and repair.
• Updating, renewing, and correcting asset lists to ensure that the contract will run smoothly moving forward.
• Helping to quote for remedial works and other small projects.
• Delivering remedial works and other small projects
• Submitting detailed engineering reports to ensure the office team are able to communicate clearly with the client.
