Job summary

ARM in Peterborough is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to perform scheduled maintenance across client sites, fault find and repair a range of systems from split units to VRFs and chillers. You will update asset lists and build strong client relationships on-site.

Responsibilities include quoting for remedial works, delivering small projects, and submitting detailed engineering reports to the office for clear client communication.

Qualifications

• FGas certification is required.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• PASMA certification (desirable).
• IPAF certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled planned maintenance visits and servicing across client sites.
• Fault find, diagnose, isolate and repair on a range of air conditioning units (split, VRF/VRV, twin and multi-splits, chillers).
• Update asset lists to ensure smooth contract operations and enable clear client communication.
• Assist with quotes for remedial works and small projects.
• Deliver remedial works and small projects and provide detailed engineering reports to the office.

Service and Maintenance

Up to £47k

Visiting client sites in order to carry out scheduled planned maintenance visits and servicing.

Working on a variety of air conditioning units including split units, VRF`s, VRV`s, twin and multi-splits, chillers, and more

Building on existing and creating new relationships with clients on-site

Carry out reactive maintenance visits where you will need to fault find, diagnose isolate and repair.

Updating, renewing, and correcting asset lists to ensure that the contract will run smoothly moving forward.

Helping to quote for remedial works and other small projects.

Delivering remedial works and other small projects

Submitting detailed engineering reports to ensure the office team are able to communicate clearly with the client.
