Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions Limited is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for our client in North London. You will service, maintain, repair, and install commercial HVAC systems across customer sites, including PPM and reactive calls.

You will work independently and with a team, in a range of environments, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction. A valid UK driving licence and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent hands-on experience.
• F-Gas (2079) Category 1 certification.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• Reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems, VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in 1-in-4 call-out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability targets.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.

About the Role

Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault-finding and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. Includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs in the Kent area.

You'll work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For
