Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install commercial AC systems across sites in the Liverpool area.

You will work on PPMS and reactive calls, spanning split systems, VRV/VRF and AHUs, while ensuring safety, quality and excellent customer service. A driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• F Gas (2079) Category 1.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or time served experience.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience working with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Previous experience working within commercial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to pass a DBS check.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team.

Responsibilities

• Fault find and repair air conditioning equipment.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems and VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 call out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide accurate information for quotations, including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet targets relating to health & safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide professional technical advice.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a growing business operating across a range of commercial environments, providing air conditioning installation, servicing, maintenance and repair services to customers throughout the Liverpool area.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team.

The successful engineer will have the opportunity to work across a variety of commercial sites, including retail stores, care homes, hospitality venues and commercial premises, while benefiting from ongoing training and opportunities for career progression.

JOB PURPOSE

To service, maintain, repair, fault find and install commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites throughout the Liverpool area.

The role will involve both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call outs, with the successful engineer working independently and as part of a professional regional team.

The engineer will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while delivering excellent customer service.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• OTE up to £55,000.
