Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd seeks an Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Coventry and surrounding West Midlands areas. The role involves maintenance, repair and breakdown of air conditioning systems, with site visits and customer-facing duties.

The position offers a 40-hour week (7:30am–4:30pm), a company van with fuel card, tools and uniform, and a generous benefits package including enhanced pension, healthcare and life assurance.

Qualifications

• FGAS certification is required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and breakdown of air conditioning systems, including air handling units and DX equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving hot and cold issues through BMS adjustments.
• Carrying out reactive repairs on air conditioning systems and infrastructure.
• Customer-facing role with site visits.

Air Conditioning Engineer

Location:

Coventry– covering West Midlands including Birmingham

Salary & Benefits:

• up to £44,000
• 40-hour week (7:30am – 4:30pm)

• 1 in 7 on call rota - £140 standby and minimum 4 hours paid for call out

The Role:

• Maintenance, repair, and breakdown of air conditioning systems, including air handling units and DX cooling equipment (more industrial than VRV/VRF systems)
• Diagnosing and resolving hot and cold issues through BMS adjustments
• Carrying out reactive repairs on air conditioning systems and infrastructure
• Customer-facing role with site visits

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• FGAS certification
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Full UK driving licence
