Job summary

Pure Talent Group is looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to service and repair industrial HVAC systems in Coventry and surrounding areas in the West Midlands. You will inspect, diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance on DX cooling equipment and air handling units.

The role involves site visits, a customer-facing approach, and working a 40-hour week with a company van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• FGAS certification.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and breakdown of air conditioning systems, including air handling units and DX cooling equipment (more industrial than VRV/VRF systems).
• Diagnosing and resolving hot and cold issues through BMS adjustments.
• Carrying out reactive repairs on air conditioning systems and infrastructure.
• Customer‑facing role with site visits.

Location: Coventry – covering West Midlands including Birmingham

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £44,000
• 40‑hour week (7:30am – 4:30pm)

• 1 in 7 on call rota – £140 standby and minimum 4 hours paid for call out
