Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd is recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer to service and repair industrial air conditioning systems at client sites across Reading and surrounding areas. The role focuses on maintaining DX cooling equipment and air handling units, with hands-on diagnostics and faults resolution.

You'll work a 40-hour week, with van, fuel card, tools, and uniform provided, plus enhanced pension, healthcare, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• FGAS certification required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot air conditioning systems and DX equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hot and cold issues via BMS adjustments.
• Carry out reactive repairs and site visits with customers.

Education

FGAS certification

NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

The Role:

• Maintenance, repair, and breakdown of air conditioning systems, including air handling units and DX cooling equipment (more industrial than VRV/VRF systems)
• Diagnosing and resolving hot and cold issues through BMS adjustments
• Carrying out reactive repairs on air conditioning systems and infrastructure
• Customer-facing role with site visits

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• FGAS certification
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Full UK driving licence
