Job summary

Curve Recruitment are partnering with an established M&E and HVAC Building Services Contractor to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems across commercial and residential sites, liaising with clients and other contractors to ensure high standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems including split, Multi-split and VRV/VRF.
• Experience in installation, servicing and fault finding of A/C systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Work on commercial and residential projects.
• Install and commission split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on air conditioning systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
• Complete service reports and relevant job documentation.
• Liaise with clients and other contractors.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas legislation and industry standards.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Curve Recruitment are working with an established M&E and HVAC Building Services Contractor based near Newmarket who are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing HVAC team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to join a growing business with a varied workload across commercial and residential projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems working across a variety of sites and dealing directly with clients and other contractors.

You will work closely with the HVAC Manager and wider M&E team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

As the Air Conditioning Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Work on a range of commercial and residential projects.
• Install and commission split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on air conditioning systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
• Complete service reports and relevant job documentation.
• Liaise with clients.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas legislation and relevant industry standards.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Experience in installation, servicing and fault finding.
• Relevant air conditioning/HVAC qualifications.
• F-Gas certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
