Job summary

Marks & Spencer in the City of London is seeking a hands-on AI Technical Lead to drive scalable, well-governed data and AI solutions aligned with our business strategies. In this senior role, you will lead a small, agile squad, shaping technical direction and delivering early value through real-world use cases.

You'll mentor engineers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to evolve solutions on our data and AI platforms in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

Extensive experience delivering Data, AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions.
Proven leader of engineering and AI teams.
Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical, value-driven AI solutions.
Strong communicator able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, governed Data & AI solutions.
Define and shape the technical roadmap for AI and automation
Lead and mentor a high-performing AI engineering squad
Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and scale AI products
Ensure robust AI governance, security, and ethical AI practices.
