Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an Analytics Solution Architect to define the architecture, standards and technology direction for analytics and AI across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Power Platform and Copilot Studio.

You will partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams and engineers to design AI-ready data ecosystems, establish reusable patterns, and lead governance, performance and cost frameworks while mentoring teams and modernising the analytics estate.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics/AI solutions in a Microsoft-centric environment.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure designs.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
• Governance and engineering excellence in architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end analytics and AI solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
• Design AI-ready data architectures including data structures, semantic models and ontologies; validate with PoCs.
• Define and champion enterprise-wide standards, governance and best practices for analytics platforms.
• Drive platform strategy and optimisation for Power BI, Databricks, Copilot Studio and AI/BI workloads; shape roadmaps and cost governance.
• Mentor and train teams; modernise analytics estate through re-platforming and decommissioning legacy systems.
