Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer (London) to bridge AI tech and client business needs. You will design, customize, deploy, and scale AI-powered solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and hands-on engineer to ensure measurable outcomes across Generative AI, ML, and AI automation initiatives.

You will lead technical discovery, solution demonstrations, and deployment across cloud/hybrid environments, collaborating with product teams and customers while aligning

Qualifications

• Experience with large language models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
• Hands-on with AI frameworks and tools (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP); containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD and MLOps practices; strong stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand objectives and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Develop and customize Generative AI, Agentic AI, and ML solutions for client use cases.
• Lead architecture, deployment strategies, and technical design documents.
• Drive adoption and measure business value; train customer teams on AI solutions.
• Stay updated on AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
