Job summary

Shift Technology in Boston is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the deployment of AI solutions for US healthcare clients. You will bridge technical teams and client stakeholders, guiding projects from scoping to scalable outcomes.

The role is hybrid with an expectation to be in the office two days per week. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of PM experience in healthcare tech or SaaS, a PMP or equivalent certification, and strong collaboration across Product, Engineering,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, consulting, or a related environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with US health plans and health plan stakeholders.
• Experience managing healthcare technology implementations involving complex data, integrations, workflows, and multiple internal and client stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of healthcare claims data and payer operational processes.
• PMP or comparable nationally recognized project management certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Take proactive ownership of project milestones and resolve blockers quickly to keep delivery on track.
• Translate technical and healthcare business requirements into clear language for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Balance data with emotional intelligence to navigate high-pressure client situations.
• Experiment with new PM methods and share learnings to improve speed and quality.
• Address delivery challenges directly and collaboratively to avoid blame.
• Communicate with diverse stakeholders to align on goals and outcomes.
