Job summary

NICE, The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, seeks an Applied AI Specialist to drive practical adoption, governance and optimisation of AI tools that boost productivity while ensuring safety and ethics.

You will translate problems into testable AI use cases, evaluate tools for risk and value, and lead pilots and governance across the organisation. Interviews will be face to face.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree level or equivalent with relevant experience.
• AI certification or Human computer interaction experience.
• Extensive experience applying AI or automation tools in real contexts.
• Experience leading AI tool pilots, adoption programmes or digital productivity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and optimisation of AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Translate problems into clear applied AI use cases focused on productivity and efficiency.
• Evaluate and select AI tools balancing capability, risk, cost and user benefit.
• Configure, pilot and iterate AI tooling including prompts and governance.
