Job summary

Accenture UK in Glasgow is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead delivery of AI-powered data engineering programs, spanning pipeline design, build and the data products that serve clients' analytics and AI needs. You will manage teams across cloud platforms and modern data architectures.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, automated data quality, and governance, with opportunities to shape data strategy and contribute to accelerators.

Qualifications

We are looking for significant experience in cloud-scale data engineering across Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS or GCP.
AI-assisted pipeline development and governance.
Data quality, observability and automated governance including schema drift detection and lineage management.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of cloud-scale data engineering programmes and platform migration initiatives across Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS and GCP.
Drive AI-assisted pipeline development and govern the quality of AI-generated outputs.
Own data product design and governance end to end from requirements through pipeline delivery and ongoing stewardship.
Lead ETL/ELT modernisation and cloud migration programmes with AI-assisted approaches.
Architect observability, resiliency and self-healing pipelines using AI-driven monitoring.
