Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Data & AI Engineer in Glasgow. You will join a team delivering data and AI solutions across major cloud platforms, building scalable data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows. The role emphasizes GenAI tooling, CI/CD for data pipelines, and collaboration with architects and product engineers.

The position focuses on developing data products, platform foundations and reliable data platforms, with opportunities to grow skills in AI-assisted engineering within a global network.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data and AI solutions across cloud data platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL engineering fundamentals with cloud exposure.
• Hands-on with CI/CD for data and platform delivery using Git/GitHub Actions.
• Familiar with IaC tooling for cloud environments and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud data and platform solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Fabric and Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using ETL/ELT patterns.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions with AI-assisted testing and docs.
• Apply data modelling and quality, lineage, observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to meet technical and business needs.
• Learn and apply agentic concepts to inform solution design for AI systems.
