Job summary

Zendesk is hiring a Sales Engineer to design and demonstrate AI-driven CX and ES solutions. You will lead discovery sessions, craft demos and value proofs, and own the technical engagement through pilots and deployment.

You’ll translate complex AI capabilities for IT and C-suite audiences and collaborate across teams to align the roadmap with customer goals. Deep knowledge of AI, ML, CI, APIs, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales or solutions consulting experience in SaaS, CX, or enterprise software environments.
• Strong knowledge of web/scripting technologies and SaaS architectures.
• Proven experience designing and executing customer pilots and proofs of concept.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies (LLMs, ChatGPT, NLP, MCP automation frameworks).
• Expertise in CCaaS, Customer Service software, ITSM, BI, or Workforce Management.
• Strong analytical and storytelling abilities with business impact.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; graduate degree is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical & business discovery sessions with customers.
• Architect AI-driven CX & ES solutions and translate AI capabilities into business narratives.
• Own end-to-end technical engagement across qualification, design, and pilots.
• Integrate & scale secure, scalable solutions using Zendesk APIs and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate across teams to align needs with product roadmap and GTM strategy.
• Measure ROI using analytics and AI performance metrics.
• Drive AI adoption with Customer Success and value realization initiatives.
• Stay ahead by expanding expertise in AI, automation, CX, and ES tech.
