Zendesk in London is seeking a Sales Engineer to design and showcase AI-driven CX/ES solutions. You’ll conduct discovery, design tailored demos, and lead end-to-end technical engagements across IT to C-suite audiences.

You will translate complex AI capabilities into business value, architect scalable integrations using Zendesk APIs and cloud platforms, and collaborate with product teams to shape future innovations. Travel as required is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales or solutions consulting experience in SaaS, CX, or enterprise software environments.
• Strong knowledge of web/scripting technologies and SaaS architectures.
• Proven experience designing and executing customer pilots and proofs of concept that demonstrate business value.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies (LLMs, ChatGPT, NLP, MCP automation frameworks) and their practical applications in CX.
• Expertise in CCaaS, Customer Service software, ITSM, BI, Workforce Management, or Integration & Middleware.
• Strong analytical and storytelling abilities. Able to connect technical capabilities to strategic business impact.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (graduate degree a plus).
• Willingness and ability to travel as required

Responsabilités

• Lead Technical & Business Discovery: conduct discovery sessions, AI readiness assessments, tailored demos and proofs of value.
• Architect AI-Driven CX & ES Solutions: translate AI capabilities into business narratives for diverse audiences.
• Drive Technical Strategy Through the Sales Cycle: own end-to-end technical engagement from qualification to pilot execution.
• Integrate & Scale: design secure, scalable solutions using Zendesk APIs, middleware, telephony and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate & Influence: align customer needs with product roadmap across functions.
• Measure & Optimize Impact: use analytics to demonstrate ROI and drive improvement.
• Champion AI Adoption: partner with Customer Success to promote AI capabilities and value realization.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: build expertise in AI, automation, CX and ES technologies.
