Job summary

Moneybox is seeking a Head of AI Platforms & Deployment to own the AI platform strategy and build the deployment team from scratch. You’ll balance hands-on engineering with long-term governance, working across departments to unlock AI-enabled business value while managing risk.

This is a leadership role in a high-growth fintech, requiring cross-functional influence, vendor management, and a clear ROI mindset as you scale AI capabilities across Moneybox.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leader with budgets, vendor management and leadership experience.
• Has owned an AI platform or enablement capability in the last 2–3 years.
• Experience in building/ scaling teams.
• Fluency with modern AI stack: frontier models, agentic tooling, MCP integration.
• AI security & governance: sandboxing, gateways, data-boundary reasoning.
• Cost engineering: usage-based pricing, forecasting and optimisation.
• Software and cloud depth to collaborate with Architects, Tech Ops and Decisioning.
• Evidence of business-case thinking in ROI/EBITDA terms.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI platform strategy and roadmap.
• Build and lead the AI Deployment team.
• Own perimeter safety in an AI-native world.
• Own AI platforms and costs including tooling and governance.
• Evolve deployments to align with strategic direction.
• Enable departments to use AI today with guardrails.
