Job summary

Flo Health Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for the AI Platform to lead the core team building shared infrastructure powering every AI feature. You will partner with Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS to scale AI initiatives across our product, from chatbots to personalized insights.

You will manage a dynamic environment with cross-functional squads, balancing fast iterations with long-term platform roadmaps, while ensuring safety, compliance, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineering teams in fast-moving product environments.
• Hands-on experience with ML systems, MLOps, and AI platform engineering.
• Ability to guide architectural decisions and balance trade-offs with depth to contribute technically when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of senior engineers with a distributed leadership model.
• Own the team roadmap, balancing structured delivery with business-driven reactive work.
• Drive cross-pod delivery, resolve blockers, and track roadmap milestones.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance ~20% of time.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering to advance Flo's AI vision.
