Aviva plc's Oasis Platform seeks an Assurance Engineering Lead to establish and lead the assurance capability across AI engineering, security, risk and governance. As Assurance Engineering Lead for the Oasis Platform, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the assurance capability that underpins Aviva's strategic AI ecosystem. Working across software engineering, AI engineering, security, risk and governance, you will define the standards, frameworks and practices that provide confidence in the quality, reliability, safety and trustworthiness of AI solutions deployed across the organisation.
You will drive the development of modern AI assurance capabilities, including automated testing, evaluation frameworks, AI red teaming, observability, reliability engineering and AI safety controls. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Assurance, Security and Risk teams, you will ensure assurance is embedded throughout the AI development lifecycle, enabling teams to innovate rapidly while maintaining robust quality and governance standards. This is a highly influential role that will help shape Aviva's approach to responsible AI and establish the Oasis Platform as a centre of excellence for AI engineering and assurance.
