Job summary

BOS Innovations Inc. in London, Ontario is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for its TrueLight AI inspection platform. You will own go-to-market strategies, sell to OEMs and integrators, and build a strong pipeline across direct and partner channels.

The role requires 2+ years in Solutions Engineering or Technical Sales, strong machine vision/industrial automation knowledge, a Bachelor’s degree, and travel up to 20-40% (including international trips to the US).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Sales, or Field Application Engineer role selling complex hardware/software into manufacturing environments.
• Strong familiarity with machine vision systems (2D vs 3D sensors, optics, and lighting) or industrial automation components (PLCs, robotics, factory automation protocols). Knowledge of industrial welding processes (MIG, TIG, laser, spot) is a significant asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a diploma or training in engineering technology, automation, robotics, or mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on industrial field experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20-40%, including international travel (primarily to the United States) with valid passport and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and engage prospective customers for TrueLight’s AI inspection platform, prioritizing Tier 1 automotive and industrial accounts.
• Build and manage a two-track pipeline with direct integration and channel partners (systems integrators and OEMs).
• Develop pricing, packaging, and proposals for product sales distinct from integration quotes.
• Represent TrueLight’s AI-enabled inspection solutions at trade shows and industry events.
