Job summary

You will guide a team of AI engineers, collaborate with data scientists and product teams, and ensure secure, reliable AI products built to enterprise standards.

The role reports to the Director of AI & Data Science and emphasizes architecture, hands-on delivery, and leadership development within a growing AI engineering function.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Development, or related technical discipline.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying LLM-powered solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of AI Engineering, MLOps, and modern LLM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the AI engineering team with strong software engineering and MLOps standards.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI applications, including LLM-powered solutions, while contributing hands-on to code and architecture.
• Support data scientists with robust model deployment, monitoring, and productionisation of ML/AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and engineers to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence by embedding quality, security, and reliability into delivery.
