Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within Credit Technology to lead design and delivery of AI-enabled trading platforms in a secure, scalable environment. You will be a core technical contributor across multiple domains, shaping architecture and working closely with Product and business partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Hands-on experience with AI components and modern tech stacks.
• Foundational AWS knowledge with cloud-native practices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and security within the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions.
• Build and support AI-native systems to expand eTrading capabilities and modernize incumbent systems with AI tooling.
• Engage with Credit Sales and Trading to align technical solutions with business strategy.
• Architect and build new systems hands-on, leveraging AI-assisted coding and modern engineering practices.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability KPIs.
• Partner with L1 support teams for production reliability and rapid issue resolution.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to probe architecture and applicability.
• Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Contribute to an inclusive team culture.
