Job summary

Method Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a Test Automation Engineer / SDET to join the Platform Engineering team. You will design and maintain automated testing frameworks for a cloud-based platform powering AI-driven content and dynamic advertising solutions.

The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) with a hands-on focus on Playwright, CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions, and AI-assisted testing to reduce manual effort while improving release confidence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automated testing with modern frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Ability to design, implement and scale automated test suites.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks across the platform.
• Develop end-to-end, regression, functional and non-functional test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Support platform reliability through structured testing and release validation processes.
• Reduce manual testing through automation and process improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve quality across the SDLC.
• Introduce test management, reporting and defect tracking processes.
• Investigate production issues and prevent recurrence with automated tests.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing approaches and tooling.
• Explore AI-assisted testing techniques to improve coverage.
