Job summary

Semble is seeking a Senior SDET to lead the evolution of its test automation framework. You will drive quality as a shared engineering discipline, design AI-assisted workflows, and maintain a stable Playwright-based framework with strong CI integration.

In this role you will expand test coverage, reduce flaky tests, and mentor engineers on test design and the testing pyramid. Remote in the UK/EU with occasional travel to London is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as SDET or Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience designing and evolving automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented quality workflows and Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of test automation capability and quality discipline.
• Design agent workflows and maintain a stable Playwright framework.
• Set up quality gates in CI/PR and optimize test layering.
• Rationalise E2E suite and surface coverage gaps.
