Job summary

Adepta Partners in Belfast is seeking Software Engineers to join a team pioneering AI-enabled software engineering. The role focuses on agentic AI workflows, using AI tools to improve the SDLC and drive adoption across the business.

You will build AI-enabled software from concept to production, collaborate across engineering, architecture, security and QA, and mentor teams on best practices. A CS/SE degree or equivalent and 3+ years’ experience are required; permanent NI work eligibility is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
• 3+ years' commercial experience in software engineering (full-stack).
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven engineering tools and agentic AI workflows.
• Strong OOP skills using Java, Python or C#.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP and software security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver AI-enabled software solutions from concept through to production.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve software engineering and delivery.
• Explore and implement agentic AI workflows for reliable automation.
• Help engineering and product teams adopt AI-enabled development practices.
• Develop reusable engineering approaches, examples and best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural patterns, coding standards and performance requirements.
• Work across engineering, architecture, security, QA and platform teams.
• Understand capabilities and limitations of AI within software development.
