Job summary

PA Consulting in Belfast seeks software engineers with a passion for AI to accelerate client innovation. You will prototype and integrate models with APIs, exploring LLMOps in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Hybrid work allows two days in the office, with sessions on client sites as needed. You’ll work across AWS/GCP/Azure, RESTful services, and modern AI tooling to deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• AI-driven software engineering experience or data science with engineering mindset.
• Experience prototyping, testing, and deploying AI features in production.
• Strong API integration with data sources and services.
• Understanding of prompt/context engineering and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to drive AI-enabled solutions.
• Prototype, test, and integrate AI models with APIs and data sources.
• Lead whiteboarding sessions and design scalable architectures.
• Contribute to internal AI community with knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Deploy and monitor solutions on cloud and DevOps stacks.
