Job summary
Motability Operations seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join an agile product team delivering and maintaining software for internal and external customers. You will contribute with Java, React/Node.js, and cloud technologies in a hybrid UK-based environment, focusing on quality, AI enablement, and continuous improvement.
The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineers, BA, Product Owner and Scrum Master within a supportive, cross-functional delivery team.
Qualifications
- Commercial Java experience
- Experience with React and Node.js frontend development
- Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS)
Responsibilities
- Focus on delivering working software in an agile team.
- Contribute to building AI capability to maximise effectiveness.
- Incorporate user feedback and best practices to evolve what we deliver.
- Continuously inspect and adapt how we deliver software.
- Use TDD, automation, and a shift-left approach to quality.
- Develop software that is easy to support and operate (build to run).
- Collaborate with engineers, BA, Product Owner and Scrum Master.
