Man Group invites penultimate-year STEM students to join the Central Trading Internship in London. The program spans 12 weeks on the trading desk, exposing you to discretionary and systematic trading across equities, credit, futures and macro instruments.

You’ll bridge high-touch and quant approaches, contribute to AI trading capabilities, and gain insight into market microstructure while collaborating with Man Group’s AI-driven teams.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and analytical background.
• On-track for a 2:1 degree in STEM or quantitative subject.
• Experience with Python and AI workflows is desirable.
• Interest in finance, markets and quantitative trading.

Responsabilités

• Work alongside traders and quant traders on the Central Trading desk.
• Help develop and improve AI and quant-trading tools and workflows.
• Analyse market and proprietary trading data to identify execution improvements.
• Build an understanding of market microstructure across asset classes.
• Collaborate with Man Group’s systematic and discretionary investment teams.
• Communicate research findings clearly.
