Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Papaya EoR and payroll implementations, guide onboarding, and coordinate cross-functional delivery. You will develop project plans, schedules, and status reports while ensuring alignment with customer needs.

You will drive AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations to streamline project tracking, reporting, documentation, and communications, maintaining strong customer relationships and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in payroll or EoR domains.
• Experience leading large, multi-faceted engagements with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on with AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations.

Job description

• Lead customers through implementations of Papaya EoR and payroll solutions
• Manage all phases of customer onboarding
• Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, status reports, and processes
• Create, optimize, and drive schedules and project plans across cross-functional teams, partners, and customers
• Anticipate and resolve resistance, setbacks, and conflicts while maintaining alignment and project schedules
• Lead customer interactions throughout implementation
• Schedule and set agendas for weekly implementation meetings
• Prepare status reports and follow up on outstanding deliverables
• Plan and schedule multiple simultaneous customer implementation projects
• Partner with Implementation and Onboarding Managers on strategic customer programs
• Monitor and measure program/project performance
• Ensure projects meet contractual obligations and established timelines
• Escalate at-risk implementation projects to leadership
• Maintain positive customer relations
• Collaborate with Sales Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Implementation and Onboarding Managers on customer needs
• Identify additional services that add value to customers
• Leverage AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations for project tracking, reporting, meeting preparation, documentation, task management, and customer communications
• Identify and implement AI solutions for repetitive project management and implementation processes
• Participate in internal projects as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Project Management and/or Sr. Project Management role
• Experience in regional/global payroll operations
• Experience leading large projects and partnering on delivery of multi-faceted engagements
• Ability to lead multiple customers and projects/tasks simultaneously
• Desire to actively lead customers and maintain customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, thorough communication, and internal escalations to leadership as needed
• Strong internal communication skills, including the ability to work with all groups and levels of the organization (Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, Operations, Finance)
• Must possess initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with customers
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, or custom AI solutions that improve project management, customer onboarding, reporting, documentation, or operational efficiency
• Experience creating AI-driven workflows, agents, or no/low-code automations that are integrated into day-to-day project management or implementation processes
• Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and implement practical solutions that improve project visibility, scalability, customer experience, and team productivity
