Job summary

Optimizely is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead global accounting, close and IFRS governance for a PE-backed SaaS business. You will manage international teams across EMEA, North America and APAC, driving automation while strengthening controls.

In this senior role, you will partner with FP&A and tax, own external audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and shape the future of finance with AI-enabled tooling and scalable processes across the group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting or controllership with senior regional responsibility.
• Qualified accountant with IFRS expertise and auditing experience.
• Experience leading cross-regional accounting teams in a fast-growth business.

Responsibilities

• Own global month-, quarter-, and year-end close across entities.
• Lead IFRS accounting, including IFRS transitions and policy consistency.
• Manage external audits and statutory filings across jurisdictions.
• Drive AI-enabled finance transformation and close automation.
• Coach regional controllers and ensure intercompany governance.
