Job summary

Monta is seeking a Director of Finance to own group financial control end to end and report to the UK CFO. You will lead the accounting function across multiple entities and currencies, driving close processes, automation, and board reporting.

You’ll bring ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent credentials and a proven ability to lead diverse teams, with SaaS/fintech or regulated finance experience a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience and a track record of managing a team.
• Experience leading diverse teams across geographies.
• Ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to cross-functional projects.
• Experience building finance solutions with AI and ERP migrations is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS/fintech or regulated financial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own group month-end close across entities and currencies.
• Oversee payroll, AR and AP management and bank reconciliations.
• Lead group consolidation, inter-company eliminations, and posting controls.
• Partner with FP&A on forecasts and board reporting; drive automation.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and statutory filings.
