Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd seeks an experienced developer to design, build, and operate full-stack AI-enabled software with a strong frontend focus. You’ll craft user interfaces, dashboards, and chat experiences that make data and AI usable for engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

You’ll own the frontend-to-backend integration, streaming AI responses, and data source connections, while also managing infrastructure, CI/CD, and security by design.

Qualifications

• Experience building full-stack AI-enabled web apps
• Strong frontend focus with accessible, responsive UIs
• Ability to design and ship production-grade interfaces for dashboards and chat experiences

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, accessible, high-performance web applications and AI-enabled interfaces
• Build AI-enabled UX with transparency: token streaming, citations, confidence indicators, human-in-the-loop
• Integrate frontends with McLaren AI platforms and handle streaming/retries
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-powered features
• Deliver data and AI products from POC to MVP and production with clean source integrations
• Own infrastructure: IaC, CI/CD, containers, observability
• Contribute to AI evaluation with automated tests and latency tracking
• Apply governance and security-by-design: access controls, encryption, least privilege
• Champion McLaren infrastructure and data residency, drive adoption of AI tools
• Plan and deliver work in sprints with honest estimates
