Job summary

Caylent is seeking a senior frontend leader to drive architecture and delivery for AI-first cloud solutions. You will guide discovery, define frontend and edge architecture, and mentor engineers while staying hands-on in code.

You will collaborate with design, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with data models, API contracts, security requirements, and scalable infrastructure. A strong focus on React/TypeScript and AI-enabled experiences is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years in frontend engineering and 1+ years in a technical lead/architect role.
• Expert-level React.js and TypeScript with state management and design systems.
• Deep Next.js experience including App Router, server components, SSR/SSG/ISR.
• Strong GraphQL API design and client libraries.
• Experience with GraphQL Subscriptions (WebSockets).
• Hands-on CloudFront, caching strategies, and Lambda@Edge.
• Security basics and web standards (OWASP, CSP, CORS).
• CI/CD for frontend apps with previews and safe deployments.
• Web performance, accessibility, and observability for frontend.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, define frontend and edge architecture.
• Author architecture decisions, designs, and diagrams for stakeholders.
• Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers; conduct reviews and set frontend standards.
• Stay curious about AI-assisted development and AI-powered UX patterns.
• Align frontend architecture with data models, API contracts, security, and infra.
