Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed with customers on our AI-native enterprise scheduling platform. You will model real-world planning problems, extend the scheduling engine, and ship working AI-powered solutions at scale.

The role blends software engineering, optimization, and direct customer engagement in a fast-moving environment. You'll work at the intersection of optimization and product, using AI-assisted workflows and modern frontend tech.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience building AI-powered systems.
• Experience with optimization techniques, constraint programming, or mathematical programming.
• Comfortable working directly with customers: gathering requirements and presenting results.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world scheduling problems into optimization models for customers.
• Configure and extend the core scheduling engine and related components against live datasets.
• Build and iterate on new solutions with customer teams under tight deadlines.
• Feed learnings back to the core product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
