Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed with customers on the PSO platform, a .NET 10/C# backend with an Angular frontend, solving complex resource planning and scheduling at scale. It is a hands-on role combining software engineering, applied optimization and direct customer engagement.

You will model real-world planning problems, ship working solutions with customer teams, and iterate quickly under deadlines while leveraging AI-assisted workflows to improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building and shipping production AI applications.
• Experience embedding with customers on AI-powered enterprise software.
• Proven ability to translate real-world scheduling problems into optimization models.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world scheduling problems into optimization models with customers.
• Configure, extend, and debug the core scheduling engine against live datasets.
• Build and iterate on new solutions with customer teams under tight deadlines.
• Feed field learnings back to core product and engineering teams.
