Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed with customers on the IFS PSO platform, combining .NET/C# backend with Angular frontend to solve complex resource planning problems at scale. This hands-on role blends software engineering, optimization, and direct customer collaboration.

You will model real-world scheduling problems, ship working solutions with customer teams, and translate learnings into core product improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and shipping production AI applications.
• Strong software engineering background with focus on AI-enabled systems.
• Ability to translate real-world problems into optimization models and collaborate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to translate scheduling and planning problems into optimization models.
• Configure, extend, and debug the core scheduling engine against live data.
• Build and iterate new solutions with customer teams under tight deadlines.
• Feed field learnings back to product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
• Operate with a bias toward shipping and rapid iteration under ambiguity.
