Job summary

Platform Housing Group seeks a strategic Head of Data & Analytics to lead our data products, engineering and analytics functions. You will shape the data platform, drive governance and scale capabilities across 120,000 customers and 2,100 colleagues, aligning data initiatives with business outcomes.

You will manage design, delivery and adoption of data services, AI opportunities and self-service analytics, while building high-performing, cross-functional teams and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience across technology, applications, data, digital or AI within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to interpret information, research, analyse data, judge, assess performance and manage risk.
• Strong experience in formulating solution design and communicating it to business stakeholders.
• Experience migrating and extracting data from Dynamics and the Common Data Service/DataFlex.
• Proven ability to engage with multiple levels of a business and translate requirements into SDLC solutions.
• Experience using a data visualization tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of Microsoft products including Dynamics 365 and advanced Excel techniques.
• Track record of leading transformational change and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing supplier relationships and budgets.
• Experience implementing AI, automation or advanced analytics with measurable business benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the Data Products and Data Engineering team.
• Develop a high-performing data capability across data engineering, data architecture, analytics enablement, data product management and AI.
• Manage planning, design, development, testing, implementation and support of the Data portfolio.
• Build relationships across the organisation, with strategic suppliers and partners.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead development and operation of Platform's central data service using Microsoft Fabric as a data foundation.
• Translate complex data and technology decisions clearly to senior leaders.
