Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking a contracts specialist to manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements. You will draft, negotiate and execute Tier 1 sales contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives across Finance, Legal and Sales teams.

Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a working knowledge of AI-enabled contract tools to improve efficiency and risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of contract-related experience in procurement, finance, legal, sales support, or related business environment.
• Strong knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation and execution with compliance to internal policies.
• Attention to detail when analyzing pricing, licensing parameters and contract terms.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Proactive risk identification, issue resolution and escalation when needed.
• Advanced proficiency in Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM and contract systems.
• Proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience to streamline workflows and mitigate AI risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle to support growth, client satisfaction and operational excellence.
• End-to-end contract process for new business and renewals with the sales team.
• Participate in pipeline reviews to advise on commercial approaches and contract risks.
• Analyze customer data, licensing, pricing and terms to support cross‑selling and renewals.
• Independently draft and negotiate Tier 1 sales agreements per internal policies.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and contract records across platforms.
• Review executed contracts for completeness and compliance for orders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Billing and other stakeholders on complex transactions.
• Serve as a trusted contact for client inquiries ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
