AI Compute & Storage Procurement Lead

Job summary

Radiant is expanding its AI infrastructure and GPU compute capacity, seeking a Principal Procurement Lead, Compute and Storage, to own strategy, spend management and supplier relationships globally.

You will negotiate with leading OEMs, manage CapEx economics, and align with Architecture, Technical Operations, Commercial and Finance to deliver multi-million dollar to nine-figure spends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic sourcing or tech supply chain.
• 3+ years on IT infrastructure hardware.
• Direct negotiation with hardware OEMs on large capital purchases.
• Ability to read server BOMs and validate parts.
• CapEx cost modelling with traceable inputs.
• Collaboration with Architecture, Operations, Commercial and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy for compute and storage, refreshed quarterly.
• Structure, issue and score RFIs and RFPs; capture requirements through to PO.
• Own price book for all vendors in the category; ensure alignment with budgets.
• Validate BOMs prior to PO; coordinate across Architecture, Operations, Commercial and Finance.
• Negotiate commercial terms: discounts, maintenance, software bundling, freight, delivery windows.
• Normalise competing bids into a single CapEx position for Finance review.
• Run quarterly supplier scorecards and manage escalation paths with vendor teams.
• Publish monthly lead-time and allocation views; flag slippage early.
