Radiant is redefining AI infrastructure with purpose-built data center design standards and hands-on engineering leadership. In this cross-functional role, you will set electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM design standards across live projects, while actively contributing to engineering work in early stages.

You will review consultant packages, engage in workshops with EPCs, and write precise technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Attitude matters more to us here than number of years of experience.
• Strong hands-on design experience in electrical or mechanical engineering for data centres or similarly complex mission-critical facilities.
• Comfort producing or heavily marking up design output yourself, not just directing others.
• Working knowledge of high-density GPU cooling (air and liquid) and power distribution/redundancy topologies.
• Ability to set a standard from a blank page - you won't be handed one.
• Confidence pushing back on consultants and EPCs directly on technical substance.
• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline).
• Experience designing for both European and US markets and codes (nice to have).

Responsabilités

• Write and maintain the electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM design standards yourself - there isn't an existing standard to inherit.
• Personally review and mark up design packages from consultants and contractors, not just sign them off.
• Get into the detail on switchgear, cooling strategy (air and liquid) and structural design for GPU-density loads.
• Sit in design workshops and RFI resolution directly with EPCs and consultants - you're expected to be in the room, not one step removed.
• Write technical requirements and personally review technical responses from suppliers and contractors.
• Build out electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM leads as the portfolio grows - but expect to be the most senior technical resource on more than one project at a time in year one.
