Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Solution Architect to articulate the value of the Cloudflare Developer Platform and guide customers in building applications with our products. You will work across sales and engineering to design and demonstrate scalable, serverless solutions that meet client needs.

The ideal candidate combines deep cloud and web technologies knowledge with a consultative sales mindset, delivering high-impact architecture and proofs-of-concept to strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of developer workflows (branching, CI/CD)
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• 5+ years selling or supporting technical sales in cloud computing
• Ability to design and articulate high-level architectural solutions
• Experience building production web applications or services
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Knowledge of cloud computing competitors and market landscape
• Software development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and serverless tooling
• Experience delivering end-to-end solutions combining cloud and AI/ML
• Certifications like AWS/GCP Cloud Architect are a plus

Responsibilities

• Present and articulate Cloudflare Developer Platform value to strategic customers
• Lead technical discovery and architect best-practice solutions
• Develop proofs-of-concept and demonstrations for customers
• Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing to drive platform revenue
• Balance technical and business needs; communicate value to varied audiences
• Provide feedback to product teams to influence roadmap
• Travel up to 30% to engage with customers and partners
• Support strategic opportunities with technical pre-sales activities
